Floridanomics (floridanomics.com) is published by Floridanomics, LLC. This notice explains what the site collects, which is very little.

No accounts and no cookies

You can read everything on Floridanomics without an account. The site sets no cookies.

Stored on your device

• The site remembers two preferences in your browser's local storage: the region you last selected and the date of the last data update you saw.
• For one browser tab session, it also stores a marker that stops repeated page reloads after a site update.
• A service worker keeps a copy of the site's files so pages load faster.
• These stay on your device, we never receive them, and clearing your browser data removes them.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the Floridanomics newsletter, your email address goes directly to Substack, which runs the newsletter under its own privacy policy. We use your address only to send the newsletter, and every issue has an unsubscribe link.

Visit statistics

We count visits with Plausible Analytics, which sets no cookies and does not store personal information or IP addresses. We see aggregate figures, such as page views and referring sites, never individual visitors.

Hosting

The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. GitHub may log technical information such as IP addresses to operate and secure its service, under its privacy statement.

Links to sources

Every figure links to its public source. When you follow a link, that site's own policies apply.

What we never do

We do not sell or share personal information, and the site is not directed to children under 13.
